Products: Pin Cutters


We tested several products before choosing these fine German-made cutters.

They provide very accurate, burr-free cutting of the hard-temper stainless steel pins used in MicroMounts™, MicroMeshes™ and MicroTools™.

These cutters are manufactured in chrome-vanadium steel. They are oil hardened and the cutting edges are separately induction hardened.

The end cutting action and almost flush head allows accurate alignment and cutting on the 2 mm marks on our pins.

Because the edges of these cutters are extra-hard, they are also more brittle. To get maximum tool life, please follow two simple rules:

1. Always cut with the steel pin perpendicular to the jaws.

2. Never wiggle the pin or cutters during cutting.
