  • Minimal liquid retention. Ultra Low Retention (ULR) tips assure even less liquid retention. ULR tips reduce the tip retention by nearly 85 % and decreases the standard deviation of the retained volume by more than 75%.
  • Fit a wide variety of micropipettors and multichannels micropipettors.
  • Universal grip design, using flexible materials with a series of bands and supports producing a positive seal.
  • Genprice tips have thin walls and a small surface area at the tip orifice, greatly minimising the possibility of the tip retaining sample droplets. In addition, the small surface area reduces the touch-off angle between the outer tip wall and the receiving sample tube. This reduced touch-off angle virtually eliminates the potential of capillary retention between the tip orifice and tube wall. Each of our tips is moulded to give a flash-free and uniform delivery orifice for consistent accuracy and reproducible sample delivery.
  • All tips are provided with calibration lines at specific volumes, acting as visual checks to minimise any risk of errors during sample aspiration.

Unique Long 1000µl Tips

Usual 1000µl tips are wide and short. They do not even reach the bottom of narrow vials.

Key Features

  • Latest micropore technology ensures that all aerosols and liquids are prevented from entering the micropipettor. This technology eliminates the need for additives such as Sodium, found in self-sealing type filters (which also have the disadvantage of trapping samples in the tip once the filter has been sealed). Thus, cross contamination is prevented.
  • Virgin Polyethylene filters without additives (a potential source of contamination).
  • Micropore technology ensures that the filters will never trap samples in the tip. Should the filter become wet due to inadvertent over-pipetting, it will act as a barrier to the passage of liquid, yet the sample in the tip may still be dispensed in the normal way, and can be re-used without fear of contamination. All filter tips are metal free.
  • The angle between the beveled filter tips and the receiving vessel reduces the area surface of the tip touching the vessel. This angle combined with an ultra-thin orifice reduces the effect of liquid samples creeping up the side of the tip (capillary effect). By reducing this capillary effect, Genprice tips and filter tips dispense accurate volumes.
  • The PCR*-Filter tips (0.1-10 µl) are specially engineered for PCR* multiplication/ techniques, and provide the researcher with the confidence that the entire amount of enzymes or DNA will be captured for testing purposes and reliable results. Ordinary filter tips do not offer this feature.
