GyroDisc®-PES 25 disposable filter devices have been designed to provide purer filtration of aqueous solutions. This product provides the best combination of large surface area and low hold up volume available.
GyroDisc®-PES 25 is composed of a polyethersulfone (PES) membrane enclosed within a polypropylene housing. This sterile non-pyrogenic product is then sealed in a "medical grade" clear blister pack, radiation sterilised, and sealed again in its own protective shelf pack. (Please note that this product is also available in a non-sterile bulk pack.)
Disposable filtration devices provide great labour saving efficiency while ensuring superior filtration when compared to hand assembled reusable filter housings.
Polyethersulfone membranes are very low proteins binding and therefore the ideal membranes to be used for solutions containing proteins.
