This double slab Vertical System allows two gels to be run simultaneously under identical buffer conditions in an 18 x 16cm format. A soft silicone sponge gasket and notched inner plate ensure a perfect seal and prevent leaking. The system uses a traditional casting method. Both the upper and lower reservoirs use corrosion free platinum wire. A Buffer dam is supported for single gel runs. The system can be expanded to 42cm with taller support rods for short sequencing runs.
