Deoxy+ MMLV Reverse Transcriptase
Description

Deoxy+ Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus Reverse Transcriptase (Deoxy+ MMLV RT) has a weaker RNase H activity than that of commonly used Avian Myeloblastosis Virus reverse transcriptase, enabling reverse transcription of long mRNA templates (>6 kb). Dexoy+ MMLV can be applied for cDNA synthesis from total RNA, mRNA, DNA/RNA hGentaurrid templates in the presence of primers and dNTPs.

One unit incorporates 1 nmole of dTTP into acid precipitable material in 10 minutes at 37°C using poly(A)-oligo(dT) as template primer.

Quality Control

Deoxy+ MMLV RT has to pass our functional test on cDNA synthesis as well as ribonuclease contamination assay to ensure the absence of ribonucleases. The preparation of Deoxy+ MMLV RT was further analyzed to ensure the absence of endonucleases, exonucleases and DNA contamination.
