MEF Feeder Cells

MEF Feeder Cells

We are MEF experts offering a wide selection of stable mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF cells) as feeder cells isolated from CF-1, DR4, and SNL (STO feeder cells). Our MEF feeder cells have an average viability of > 95%, and have been used by more than 200 clients in both academic and industrial labs. Also see out our neo-resistant MEF feeder cells for the culture of ES/iPS cells under G418 selection.

CF-1 MEF Feeder Cells :

CF-1 MEF feeder cells are derived from CF-1 mouse embryos and used as feeder layers to support the growth of undifferentiated mouse or human embryonic stem cells (ESC) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) .

MEF cells serve as feeder cells that support the growth of undifferentiated mouse or human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). MEF cells are isolated from mouse embryos and should be used at early passages. Before use, MEF cells should be usually treated by γ-irradiation or mitomycin-C to stop further proliferation.

All of our CF-1 MEF feeder cells are derived from 13.5 day old mouse embryos. They are manufactured in our US facility and have an average viability of 95%.  more than 200 academic and industrial customers with an average viability of 95%.

DR4 MEF Feeder Cells :

DR4 MEF feeder cells are isolated from DR4 mouse embryos and are resistant to neomycin, hygromycin, puromycin and 6-thioguanine.

MEF cells serve as feeder cells that support the growth of undifferentiated mouse or human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). MEF cells are isolated from mouse embryos and should be used at early passages. Before use, MEF cells should be treated by γ-irradiation or mitomycin-C to stop further proliferation.

DR4 MEF feeder cells have resistance to neomycin, hygromycin, puromycin and 6-thioguanin. All of our MEF feeder cells are manufactured in our US facility and have an average vialibility of 95%.

Neo-resistant MEF Feeder Cells :

Neo-resistant MEF feeder cells are isolated from mouse embryos and are resistant to neomycin.

Neo-resistant MEF feeder cells are derived from 13.5 day old mouse embryos that have Neomycin-resistant genes. All of our MEF feeder cells are manufactured in our US facility and are optimized for the culture of ES/iPS cells under G418 selection.

SNL Feeder Cells (SNL 76/7 mouse fibroblast STO cell line) :

The SNL 76/7 cell line, derived from a mouse fibroblast STO cell line transformed with neomycin resistance and murine LIF genes, can be used as feeder cells for mouse and human ESC and iPSC culture.

Applied StemCell, Inc. offers high-quality SNL 76/7 cell line STO feeder cells derived from ouse fibroblasts transformed with neomycin resistance and murine LIF genes. The SNL 76/7 cell line STO feeder cells can be used as feeder cells for mouse and human ESC/iPSC culture.
