Genome Extraction


Gentaur provides a genome extraction kit, the FlexGen Blood Maxi Kit.

BloodGen Mini Kit is designed for rapid extraction of pure genomic DNA from whole blood, plasma, serum, buffy coat, lymphocytes, bone marrow and other body fluids, including genomic DNA, mitochondrial DNA and virus DNA. The blood samples can be fresh, frozen, or pretreated, no leukocyte separation required. The kit can deal with up to 0.1-1 mL blood sample and can provide purified genomic DNA from 100 bp to 50 kb. Without the use of organic solvent such as phenol, chloroform etc in the purification process, and it can treat with multiple samples at the same time and get rid of the pollution from protein, pigment, lipids and other inhibitory impurities. The genomic DNA provided by this kit is of high yield and good quality and can be directly applied to downstream application such as PCR, RT-PCR, Real-time PCR, Southern blotting and library construction etc.
