Leiurotoxin 1 (scyllatoxin) is a neurotoxin that was originally isolated from Leiurus quinquestriatus hebraeus. Leuirotoxin binds to the SK channels (small conductance Ca2+-activated K+ channels) in the brain and spinal cord and inhibits them.
